Marley is a creative individual who delights in adorning the world we live in, both visually and audibly. They are 25 and a nonbinary artist currently centered in the USA. Marley is also currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in History, minoring in Chinese and Game Studies. Art
With both digital and traditional art experience, Marley enjoys art in many forms. They have experience with commission work, pin design, asset work, sprite work, animation, story-boarding, character design, video editing, zine work, photography, and illustration, among others.For examples of their storyboard work, they have a compiled Youtube playlist. Marley also has a playlist of the completed animation projects they have been involved in.For examples relating to their art, they have an art tumblr with a compiled portfolio tag, though they may have more recent works upon request.Marley has been published within OSU's 2022-2023 Mosaic Magazine, Catastrophezine's tarot deck, Catastrophezine's first publication, Catastrophezine's second volume kickstarter, Clanzine Issue 3, Undiscovered Gems Original Character zine, and a now-removed TOME fanzine named Womanly Wiles. Writing
Marley primarily writes animal fiction, with forays into fantasy and science fiction. They have a background in fanfiction and forum roleplay that influences their interests in writing. Marley also has experience writing for visual novels (such as Koi of Twilight and To Diapause and Go To Hades) and scriptwork/pre-storyboard animated projects.For examples of their fiction writing, their AO3 has the largest repertoir, but for original fiction their RoyalRoad may be a better example. They also have a large repertoir of unpublished short-story work available as example work upon request. Currently, they're working on several book series and standalone novels; The Memory Cycle, Saltwater & Rivershells, Who Killed the Queen, and Eden For Foxes.
Poetry
Marley enjoys writing poetry as an expression of self and exploration of the world around us. They've been published in Nature Held Me Close, Volume 2, OSU's Mosaic Magazine 2022-2023 edition, and have some of their poems published online on their poetry tumblr. One of their long-term goals is to independently publish a poetry anthology, which much of their work is currently reserved for. Marley has also read their poetry aloud at two LGBT+ centered events, including a Night of Noise rally.
Music
Marley composes and posts chiptunes to their Bandcamp. They have a bit of an eclectic music taste and are largely inspired by the works of Louie Zong, Eel Valley, Ferry, Rio Romeo, and various game OSTs.Marley composes the music for their own visual novels and games, and additionally has experience with piano, violin, choir singing, and flute (to a much lesser extent than the other instruments). They enjoy using the program BeepBox primarily for their published works.
Game dev
Marley primarily works in Ren'py, but has some experience working with Unity. They post their creations on itch.io.
Currently, they're planning to expand their tools to RPGMaker
XP. Marley has also designed several board games throughout the course of a college class, including over 50 assets for various parts of the games.Several visual novels are currently in the works, including a debut work named NonBinary planned for early 2025, a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fangame visual novel centered around eeveelutions, and a 'fox in the henhouse'-themed comedy visual novel.
Pokemon Unite
Marley plays under the username RedLuckFox and keeps an open-minded and growth-oriented approach to playstyle. They enjoy playing Attackers, Defenders, and Supporters, with some tournament experience both individually and on team Unity!, a competitive team they managed for ~1 year before disbanding it.Currently, Marley is trying to organize a NA-based collegiate league for Unite.
